What it costs.

No surprises. Every event is a little different — here's where we start.

Base Package $800 4 hours

DJ & MC for four hours, within about an hour's drive of Addison, VT.

Ceremony Music $400 add-on

Live acoustic guitar for your ceremony — or recorded music of your choice, perfectly cued.

Also available

Additional hours — $100 / hour
Travel beyond one hour — $50 per hour of drive time

The person behind the booth

Val Davis has been making rooms move since 1980

Val started in broadcasting at fourteen, then spent the 1980s spinning records in some of Houston's biggest nightclubs while working in both radio and television. He DJ'd his first wedding in 1982 — and four decades later, he's still at it.

Today he's the morning announcer for KIX 105.5 (WKXH) in St. Johnsbury, and when he isn't behind a mic he's behind a guitar. That broadcast ear and live-musician instinct are what make a Vermont Sound event feel effortless: the right song, the right moment, every time.
